SOUTH STRADBROKE ISLAND FLIGHTS

Your flight departs Seaworld Resort in the morning and takes you all over the northern Gold Coast including the magnificent Sovereign Islands and it’s multi million dollar mansions and boats.
You will experience some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Australia, combining the world famous beaches of Surfers Paradise, the islands of Moreton Bay and the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Whales and Dolphins are a common sight.
As you fly over South Stradbroke Island the pilot will point out the three different locations on the Island and you can choose where to land the seaplane and start your day. All of the resorts and bars are within walking distance and you can be dropped off at one location and picked up from another. The furtherest walk is 30 minutes between Couran Cove and the Maclarens beach bar.
Tipplers Bar and Cafe is a beautiful location on the western side of the island were all the boaties hang out. The food and atmosphere here is fabulous. On the weekend it gets very busy as it is so popular. However it is definitely worth the wait for the food. During the week it is a quiet and relaxing place with the local Wallabies often in sight.
Couran Cove Island Resort is the largest resort on the island. It caters for everyone and has a choice of two swimming pools and lots of activities. You can hire a bike or go walking and explore some of the many tracks that show off some amazing and diverse scenery. There is a restaurant by the pool that sells excellent food and a Tavern overlooking the marina if you just want a relaxing drink.
Maclarens Landing is a sub-tropical island paradise located in a beautiful natural bushland setting overlooking its own calm water beach. The new beach bar is fantastic and the perfect place to watch the boats cruise by and dolphins swim past. Pizza, burgers, calamari it boasts casual menu perfectly suited to the location. Unfortunately it is only open on the weekends and is CLOSED during the week.

Your return flight is at approximately 3:00pm, the Seaplane will take you back to Seaworld Resort. The flight home along South Stradbroke Island beach is truly stunning and often you will catch a glimpse of some of the thousands of Humpback Whales that swim past the Gold Coast beaches between May and November.
