Deluxe Island Picnic

ROMANTIC ISLAND PICNICS

The ultimate romantic getaway to your own island paradise. Enjoy a spectacular scenic flight over the Gold Coast before arriving at your destination where you can swim and explore or just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Lunch on a gourmet platter of fresh seafood with chilled champagne. It is the perfect idea for a special occasion (marriage proposal, anniversary, birthdays, etc)

Our Deluxe package is designed for special occasions (proposals, etc) and is tailored specifically to your needs. The flight time is longer, the food is more plentiful and the surprise for your partner is fantastic. We plan it so she/he has no idea what’s going on and the results always turn out well. You also have a choice of locations and are guaranteed exclusive use of the Seaplane on the way up to the island.

Departing Seaworld Resort around 11am, you will experience some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Queensland, combining the world famous beaches of Surfers Paradise, 360 islands of Moreton Bay and the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean. After a magnificent scenic flight you will be dropped off at a beautiful beach on South Stradbroke Island for a few hours of delicious food, swimming, exploring and romance!

South Stradbroke Island is a unique subtropical wilderness. The western beaches are quiet and lagoon-like and the eastern beaches are a surfer’s paradise.

On the island the Pilot will set up a table, chairs, umbrella and picnic rug for your comfort.

For lunch you will be presented a glorious fresh seafood platter including Moreton Bay Bugs, Prawns, Oysters and all the trimmings including Champagne, Premium Beer/Wine, Soft drink, cold meats, dips, fresh fruit and chocolates. (Meat only, vegetarian or combinations are all available on request.)

After settling in, the pilot then departs, leaving you in the perfect romantic setting.

Around 3pm the Seaplane will arrive and take you back to Seaworld Resort. The flight along South Stradbroke Island beach is truly stunning and often you will catch a glimpse of some of the 10,000 humpback whales that swim past the Gold Coast beaches between May and November. A truly spectacular, romantic and unique way to experience the wondrous beauty of the Gold Coast with someone special!
